No Newton for the Xbox 360

No Newton for the Xbox 360

Man, this is seriously going out of proportions. I think Microsoft likes to deny anything that would make them a clown in front of other people (companies). More than a month ago, speculations about a wiimote lookalike for the Xbox 360 was hot on the loose and some even called it as Newton (no offense there,  Isaac ). But unfortunately (and as usual) Microsoft has denied any projects of such sort.

Microsoft famous for its ‘wait and see’ method could have gained some momentum with its 360 sales if the above project had been carried on.

No Newton for the Xbox 360

When has Microsoft ever been able to reach the casual gamer? This was the reaction when approached about a motion sensor for the Xbox 360,

“We don’t comment on rumors or speculation, but what we can tell you is we’ve never seen this list before.”

As plain as white. But lets face it, Xbox 360 controller consists of more buttons comparing to the simple Wii. So, a motion sensor for the 360 would be crammed with buttons and what if this thing turned out like the RROD or the howl of the HD reader every time you insert that nasty HD-DVD. So, peace for now and no motion sensor and no blu-ray. Curse you Billy!
