Now youtube for your PS3 games

Atlast, you can now show off that neck breaking turn or the brutal headshot on youtube. API has announced that developers now can include YouTube API for their future Playstation 3 games. This also means that it will allow developers to include the upload and the download button directly into the game, so that users can do both instantaneously. Electronic Arts’s Skate already uses a similar technology but the video is hosted by themselves.

Imaging you pulled off something that says ‘Noobs, I am your father’, you would definitely want to show off that. And now you can. Sharing in-game media is one of the aspects of the social media revolution that consoles have been slow to adopt, but Sony could be in position to change that.
