Was just wondering when will the dull old world of PC gaming will get its recognition back. And suddenly GamePro is like ‘Your prayers have been answered child’. Asustek has come up with Eee Sticks for the PC just like the Wii wireless motion controllers. Two Eee sticks with motion sensors will make us play games on a PC and this time not just sitting in front of the monitor but also jumping, flinging your arms and other real world actions.

Asustek has planned initially to introduce the wireless controllers with the Eee PC low cost laptops and Eee box in Q3 this year. As of now, Asustek has just signed a few games to be compatible with the product but we can expect EA to be on the list soon.

Price? A 66$ to 88$ with five to eight games included. Now thats what I call a bang for the buck!

Wireless is good and you can somehow feel your presence in the game since you can move freely and do what the player does. It could also give benefits for the user to make simple exercises while enjoying the game.
    nice one…
It will be nice if it will soon be applied to all kind of games and everybody will indulge using it! :-)

I hope game developers take note of how much interest motion controllers have stirred in the general public. I’d like to see more applications like this for PCs.
