SPult Universal Remote is Simple: No million buttons

SPult Universal Remote is Simple: No million buttons

Universal remotes are damn cramped up with buttons here and there, Designer Yurii Smitana Perfilov must have thought about that before crafting the sPult remote which is simply gorgeous, like coming straight from some si-fi movies. One thing you will notice is the lack of buttons, the scroll wheel does the volume or channels, there’s a favorites selector, mute and power function plus a simple display.

I can’t tell if this thing will every be at our local electronics stores, but surely we would love it in our homes. Great Job Yurii.

Need for Speed: Undercover announced

June 23rd, 2008

Wonder why I almost forgot what NFS meant. Then it struck me. ProStreet ruined my memories of all those ‘underground’ and ‘most wanted’ days. ProStreet sucked in more ways than once. For example, the NFS franchise was running out of stories and really needed new ideas if they were to maintain the momentum. Well, lets just hope that the upcoming ‘Undercover’ won’t be a disappointment.

Mio Knight Rider GPS, with KITT’s voice

Fans of the Kight Rider series should rejoices as Mio came about with a very cool looking GPS which is based on the Kight Rider theme. The GPS body features cool LEDs on both side of the screen. I’m sure the fans would love the voice of KITT which has been licensed by Mio. Atleast now you got the option to pretend as Michael Knight. $270 isn’t a bad price for a collectable but we don’t know when its gono land in a store near you.

Rumor: Call of Duty 6 going to be sci-fi?

June 22nd, 2008

Hours ago, we just saw the CoD: World at war trailer and it was disappointing that the developers were heading back to WWII when CoD: Modern Warfare did such a nice job. Moving away from the world wars was kind of refreshing. Not to mention, when we finally saw M4s instead of M1s it looked like we were going to see more sequels with more interesting storylines. Apparently, Joystiq has reported a rumor of CoD 6 going sci-fi.
