Ben Heck : I Am Legend

June 20th, 2008

Sorry Will Smith, but we gamers beleive it takes a lot more than eradicating viruses to become a legend. Yes, I am talking about Benjamin J Heckendorn. The Xbox 360 laptop, the PS3 laptop, the Atari 2600 and now behold the Atari 7800 portable! Man, this one makes the creators look like donkeys.

Ben Heck

The big size is due to the large motherboard the Atari 7800 has. So, even though Ben calls it portable it might never fit inside that pocket of yours. The controllers are way better compared to that joysticks you used to get with the Atari 7800. Features include:

Rumor: Trioxide, the first ever emulator for the Wii, 360 and the PS3?

June 19th, 2008

Visual Boy Advance, Project 64 and ZSNES were some of the popular emulators for the games from the NES, the 8-bit sega and the Nintendo DS. Surprisingly, Kotaku claims that it has discovered something that will allow games of the Wii, 360 and PS3 platform to be played on the PC. For the sake of it, this could be just like that Microsoft Xbox 360 Blu-ray version. Living with denials.

LaCie Little Big Disk Quadra: 1TB of mammoth storage

External drives have gradually become mainstream for many who aren’t comfortable with the puny storage capacity provided by the USB drives. LaCie’s Little Big Disk Quadra external drive might replace your standard internal hardrive with the 1TB of storage utilizing two 2.5-inch 500GB drives in a RAID 0 configuration . It can be plugged in using either eSATA/Firewire 800 (FireWire 400 compatible with included adaptor), and one USB 2.0 interface now thats universal connectivity. The Lacie weighs in at a little over 1.4 pounds and available now from LaCie direct and your local LaCie dealers for a steep $659.99.

Sony’s motion gaming phone: tsk tsk …

June 17th, 2008

Hype, hype and more hype. This what this phone’s been living ever since rumors of PSP-like-phone from Sony got around. The new F305 does not have that much to talk about but hey, its a gaming phone. So, a slow dramatic applause will be appreciated. The only plus point I see is the built-in accelerometer for the motion controlled games.

Sonys motion gaming phone: tsk tsk ...

Sadly, the games are going to be old school like and really simple. Two playstation buttons have been incorporated in this stuff and they are the O and X. The phone is on A2DP and will be announced today. You can expect these to hit the market this Q3.
