Rumor: DirectX 11 may be announced this month

The one thing I hate about PC gaming is the fact that you have to keep fumbling around for the latest graphics cards to fit the latest games in. DirectX 10 announcement meant a new PhysX as well as a graphics card. Its almost like a bazooka just went through your pocket. Adding to that misery, rumors about DirectX 11 have surfaced.

While many are still clinging on to DirectX 9.0c as long as they can, DirectX 10 has been for Vista-only users. Apparently, it seems Microsoft will announce DirectX 11 by the end of the month. If that’s true, it will come with all those ‘Wow!’ effects and all those ‘looking-real’ crap. In Asian countries like India, DirectX 10 is still considered alien and DirectX 11 will make them look like Stone age guys.

The announcement will supposedly made on Sept 22-23 at the XNA Gamefest in Seattle.

great, looking forward to these rumors to get true soon, I have been playing games like crazy for last month and a DX update would be great
