Electronic Arts have long sice annouced that you can add your custom tracks to the ganw you are playing. But what if you don’t have the feature or the ability? Steve Schnur, EA Chief Music executive has announced that downloadable soundtracks are coming in 2009.

You can now add your own custom soundtracks by downloading songs offered by EA. I wanted many songs like ‘Riders on the storm’ by Snoop Dogg to be deleted and in place wanted some hardcore rock but unfortunately it wasn’t possible. But coming 2009, things are going to change.

Schnur also added that Madden ‘10 will have that feature plus all the other major titles (hopefully NBA included) too. EA will continually add new music to get the change.

One thing remains, will it be for free? Honestly, I don’t think so. It might be on a membership basis or something like that. Keep your fingers crossed.
