As usual, Microsoft has promised a ‘new and improved’ version of the Internet Explorer and that is how (also by logical numbering) Internet Explorer 8 was born. Its predecessors I should say where profoundly popular and also downright useless when it came to security. Well, lets see what the new Internet Explorer 8 has to offer.

As usual, the developers talked about focussing on the browser-friendly perspective, enhanced security and a better platform for the developers all around the world. Some of the noteworthy features are the compatibility view, inPrivate browsing, SmartScreen filter etc. and not so new search suggestions.
I bet anything that developers are right now trying to drill in this new release and come up with every loophole they find. Currently it is available in the 32 bit and 64 bit versions for Vista, XP, Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
