Replace Annoying Windows UAC with Smart UAC

Thou Microsoft keep bragging about Windows Vista’s great security features, there are many annoying stuffs about Vista. The most annoying being the UAC (User Access Control). Its a builtin security feature which protects your computer from various threats like malicious programs, privacy breakers, by asking you with a popup(that blackens your screen for few milliseconds), whether let the program continue executing  etc. Perhaps its maybe handy if you wanna be extra cautious about what your computer is going about. But then why the hell we use stuffs like Kaspersky Internet Security, Norton Internet Security etc. All in all to me its a really annoying, perhaps on of the disaster features for Windows Vista and most of us will simply disable UAC.

Now if you still love to hang on with UAC but still want a little more toned down popups, Smart UAC might be the answer. Smart UAC Replacement unlike the default Vista UAC lets you configure how UAC behaves, so you don’t need to keep clicking continue, every time you launch the same program. Besides it haves extensive database of more than 300 000 known threats, that means it knows which program is good and bad.
