Listening to ‘light’ music was never so much fun, literally. For a player so small, the iRiver lplayer is really a bang for the buck. The iRiver lplayer is in a sense the successor of the old line of iRiver Clix. Though smaller in size, it offers the same huge amount of its features as its ancestors.

First on the ergonomics, its really good considering the size of the player. The screen is relatively huge. A 2-inch TFT display with a 320 x 240 resolution. The controls are mostly the same as the iRiver Clix. As a rule, there is a dedicated button for the volume and the hold option.

Okay, this ain’t like those standard Elmo toys you get on the streets which does only the usual recorded talking with no real movements. Yeah, it maybe interesting for a month or two but then it goes all boring and repetitive. The New Elmo Live is designed to entertain you and your children forever. Here is how.

Elmo Live tells stories and that too not just sitting on the job but with movements and real talking. Truly like a granny, it pauses at the right moment for the effect to seep in and then proceeds. The stories it can differs in lenght according to the ages of the children and I am sure some of you adults still love sesame street.

Its time boxers had a break too. Now that there is the motion based gaming, why don’t we have a boxing gloves that senses motion in the way its meant to? Well, that exactly is what the ezGear Boxing Gloves for the Nintendo Wii will be doing.

For any boxing game played on the Nintendo Wii, this would be the ideal way to play it. Imagine your opponent is Muhammed Ali ( atleast virtually you can beat him) and get into position. Slip on your ezGear Boxing gloves, slip the Wii Nunchuck in your palm or put it into the back of the glove.

Symantec will acquire PC Tools in a short time but before that PC Tools’ guys seem to be in ‘goodbye-forever’ mood. And this ‘goodbye’ mood seems to be a giveaway of its softwares for free. PC Tools Internet Security 2009 seems to be the software and with a 1 year license key.

Some of the noticeable features of this software is that all in one protection as you can see from the image above. There is also frequent updates just like the AVG anti-virus. Email is also filtered in a jiffy and the spam goes into oblivion where you want it.

Sometimes, I feel like James Bond overdoes the spyglass thing. But this cool piece, however features present day technology with a futurist touch. It features a cool hidden cam, polaroid lenses, while the built in 2gigs will suffice most spying runs but the expansion slot for Micro SD Card might come handy if the realtime recording pushes the storage limit.

The Cordless Eyewear Spy Video Audio Recorder is available from Brando for $186.

You already know it. Imation Apollo Pro WX might be the first to offer a USB hard drive that is completely wireless expect for the power cord. :D . Speedwise the wireless Apollo Pro WX is expect to match the wired ones.
The Apollo Pro WX will use Seagate hard drives and will come in a variety of sizes upto maximum capacity of 1.5TBs. Talking about convenience, the wireless hard drive solution has a total range of about 30 feet, meaning you won’t need to stroll to get your pictures. Hey but we all don’t have USB wireless in our computers, so they even included a USB port and cable for those who haven’t made the switch.

While we won’t recommend any cheap thrills if you are into Bluray player hunt! The Memorex MVBD-2510 simply gets the job done for $270, it plays your favorite Bluray flicks, nothing more. Catch is, it doesn’t comes with Profile 2.0 (which could be updated by some networking) and ethernet(crap not even ethernet, how am i gono update it). It’s fully functional via HDMI, but another hit and miss, appears to be the lack optical audio and component outputs. But if you don’t care about anything rather then playing you Bluray movies and want it cheap, Memorex MVBD-2510 is the way to go. Still, I’d recommend geeks or anyone to give it a pass, as it won’t be long before we sub 200$ Bluray players with all the features it misses. Until then lets wait.
