Okay, Exit: Floppy And The CD. Enter: The DVD and the Flash Drives. DVDs are now a great source of movie storage, songs and so many other things. And today I have decided that I will show you guys some cool DVD burning softwares that was never known popularly but is worth the recognition. Ok, I really like the Fire Jet Man guy.

♦ ImgBurn - This one has been there for ages and its still going good. ImgBurn writes most of the image types to the DVD. ImgBurn allows you to create ISO images so that its easier to burn them onto the DVD.

♦ FinalBurner - Final Burner is here to burn your CDs and DVDs being a freeware. It even supports the DVD DL format. You can burn the DVDs in any format and its very simple, just select the files and the type of your burn mode and thats it.

♦ StarBurn - A New entry compared to the other ones, it supports all the DVD formats and the new kid, the HD-DVD. Create content from video files and there is also a DVD splitter availalble which allows to split if you don’t have the dual layer write option.

♦ CDBurnerXP Pro - Another free DVD burner software that is worth checking out. CDBurnerXP Pro supports all the standard DVD formats. It supports ISO image creation, creating bootable discs and printing cover sheets. CDBurnerXP Pro requires that you have a .NET Framework.

♦ DeepBurner - DeepBurner is a freeware that allows you to create and burn ISO image files and create bootable discs. It supports all the DVD formats. A disadvantage, it doesn’t allow you to copy DVDs on any account whatsoever.

♦ Easy Burning - This is a little different from the pack in terms of features. It has CDRTools which are availalble for free. You can write DVDs in usual formats and the UDF format is also available. Multisession DVD disc is also supported.

Well, thats it folks! Hope you enjoyed the list and found it informative. Some of the above softwares also have their software versions in the Linux.
What do you think about the list? Do you know a DVD freeware burner that is in par with the above? Let us know your comments.
