How To Moderate Wordpress Comments From Your Desktop
->
Adobe AIR is slowly revolutionising the meaning and the uses of the ‘Desktop’. Remember GMDesk from the same Adobe AIR? It used to allow Google services to run right from the desktop. This time around, its the Moderator.

Moderator is a boon to those blog admins who get lots of comments everyday. You don’t need to login to your wordpress dashboard in order to approve/unapprove comments. You can now directly moderate them from the desktop.
Its very simple. Just login and take a look at the unmoderated comments and you can accept/spam/delete them. You also have the option of viewing the gravatar of the particular user or not. Moderator supports the latest Wordpress version (2.6+) and will support the upcoming Wordpress 2.7. As this is just a first release, there may be bugs. For instance, when you have lots of comments unmoderated (say 100), you may see some performance issues with the app.
Moderator is great app for all bloggers alike as it saves time and you don’t need to login everytime to your dashboard.

Love this! It’s hard to keep up with all the comments that come through on several blogs but this will make moderating them so much easier. Thanks for posting this.
