Overclock Your Sony PSP
I have been hearing this for about a month or two but never actually wanted to try it. But a friend here has tried it and says it works wonders. Make your Sony Playstation Portable more powerful by overclocking it.

It might even be called factory underclocked. The installed CPU should originally run on 333 Mhz while in reality runs only at 222 Mhz. Some games play like a slideshow in complex scenes involving complicated environment. Answer: Custom PSP Firmware from Team M33.
Not only it does the overclocking, it can also backup UMD movies and games and run PSP cheats right from the memory.
After the BIOS is installed, to set the turbo speed as your default on the PSP, you will have to access the recovery menu. To do that, hold down the right shoulder button while you are turning your PSP on.
Now navigate to CPU Speed. Select the ‘Speed in UMD/ISO’ which changes the speed for games and movies. The ‘Speed in XMB’ is for the dashboard. Keep in mind, selecting higher speeds requires a lot of battery so you better use this only for the games. Select ‘333′ (maximum) and go back to the main menu.
Thats it! Now you have a PSP that runs on 333 Mhz. You will notice a difference in games you play and the movies you watch.
NOTE: Upgrade to a 16GB memory stick for this firmware to run smoothly.
