Send SMS Over Wi-Fi With Jajah’s iPod Touch VOIP app
Jajah is the first app that lets you send and receive SMS messages over Wi-Fi meaning you can do all this without a mobile plan. Sweet. Are you thinking what I am thinking? No, Seriously?
Before this, Jajah required a mobile plan in order to VoIP calls and sens text messages but its all Wi-Fi now meaning you can use the iPod Touch to make calls via Wi-fi. The app also works on iPhone but not on 3G or EDGE. Why? I’ll leave that to you (Hint: AT&T want to exist).
About the app, its simple and easy to use. As you can see the above image, SMS/call and the number pad, thats it. Calls over Wi-fi are a little unclear and there are pauses due to data transfer.
But Jajah is one big help for your pocket. Take it this way, you just pay $1 a month to talk unlimited.

you can not use this for the ipod touch because i looked on the app store and it said no results.

Let me give you a hint to why it isnt out yet. its a app not wanted by apple, due to at&t not allowing it. so you know what that means. u either have to go to cydia or ssh into your ipod/iphone after finding the files and download it manually. AKA YOU HAVE TO HAVE A JAILBROKEN IPOD/IPHONE! DUR.

clearly u havent heard of jailbreaking. the appstore is SAD in comparison to cydia or installer (which you get with any jailbreak). check it out on youtube..its DEFINITELY worth your time to do. (i myself have toooooons of appstore apps, all for free)
