The last day is 1st April 2009. Until then, its yours. Procedure is simple if you know Chinese. Or not. I am here to accompany you on that. Here’s what the Chinese want to say.

♦ Head over to the promotion page.

♦ In the first box, enter your mail address.

♦ In the second box, re-enter your mail address. Make sure its a valid mail address, cause this is where you will be getting your license key.

♦ In the next step, enter the verification code.

♦ Now check your mail. You will get a 25 digit key. If you do not have the Chinese version of Kaspersky, you will get an error when entering the key. Chill, uncheck the Self Defense mode in Kaspersky Antivirus.

♦  Head over to C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009\Skin\loc and rename the folder from en to sch

♦ There is also the registry hack. Run regedit from the Run of Start menu and goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP8\environment. 

♦ Look for Localisation and select it. Change the value to sch.

♦ Thats it. Now activate Kaspersky Antivirus using the activation code you got by email.
