I doubt most of you guys aren’t familiar with the name Frazer-Nash, it was quite an old British car maker who don’t make cars any longer.  Currently with the collaboration of Italdesign Giugiaro they have created a concept called the Namir, which is according  to these guys is the world’s fastest hybrid car, powered by an 814cc rotary engine driving a generator which charges a 400v lithium polymer battery pack feeding the pair of electric motors at each axle with a maximum of 362HP.

The Namir a tops out at 187 mph, with a 0-62 mph acceleration in 3.5 seconds while still managing 91.7 mpg (US)! Woo behold the future! .
