24 Samsung SSDs RAID array for 2GB per second of total madness!

Put together 24 seriously fast SSD’s enough ingredients already for one hell of a recipe. Well guys over at Samsung couldn’t just stop bragging big about how fast there SSD’s are. Apparently they hooked up 24 solid-state drives into a RAID array that totaled for about 6 terabytes, but the most impressive part is they achieved: 2GB per second. While most of us are happy with 60 to 50Mb/s , 2GB/s is just incredible.
But a single cheap 32GB SSD costs about $100 so buying 24 of these is simply out of question for most of us. Smoking video after the break.
That…WAS AMAZING. I actually just got a hard drive installed today, which was quite nice compared to what I had. But man, this makes me want more. =D I can’t imagine how amazing it would be to play games on that – especially games like Oblivion where you’ll hit quite a few load screens. Then again…would you hit a load screen with that much win?
