Apple shows iPhone OS 3.0, copy and paste, Spotlight search, tethering and plenty more

Apple just hours back debuted its upcoming iPhone OS 3.0. Finally guys copy and paste feature is here, A2DP, MMS and universal Spotlight search and quite a lot of features we were crying at Apple for. Finally they listened to us.
- Copy & Paste text : Double tap over text and you’ll get a “cut, copy, and paste” dialog.
- Copy & Paste photos: You can now copy paste images, also comes with multiple photo selecting
- New Spotlight. Now you can will be able to search across the entire information contained in your device, no matter where, if your application supports it, it will work.
- Search in Mail, Calendar, and iPod. These Apple applications have specific search interfaces.
- 3G Tethering. We know we can tether an iPhone using some workarounds but its great that Apple finally releases why iPhone can’t be used as a modem. But Carriers still have to sign-off on it, so this feature may or may not come in the final release.
- Landscape keyboard. Apple has added the landscape keyboard mode to other applications, like Mail, SMS, and Notes.
-
Multimedia messaging. Cool, finally can send some cool stuffs to my girlfriend over the iPhone :D. But guys this is only iPhone 3G feature.
-
Support for new calendar types. You can now be able to subscribe to calendars on the web using two protocols: CalDAV—supported by Google and Yahoo—and subscriptions via the .ics format—which Apple uses in iCal.
-
• Improved stocks application. Much improved version of the Stocks application that will feature related news, market scandals, stock crashes and other bizarre news.
-
Stereo Bluetooth A2DP audio. You will now be able to pair your iPhone 3.0 with a stereo Bluetooth A2DP device, like headphones or speakers. This is also a iPhone 3G feature only.
-
Note syncing with iTunes : Finally, I lost count of how many times i lost my notes after having to restore my iPhone.
-
Automatic login in Safari. The new version of Safari will remember login credentials, so you don’t need to type in every time you open your mail.
-
Shake to shuffle music. If you are in your iPod application, you just need to shake to shuffle to a different song.
-
Wi-Fi auto-login. In case you have a subscription to a paid hotspot, your iPhone or iPod touch will autolog into it.

iPhone OS 3.0 will be a free upgrade to all iPhone users, which includes the first generation but not all features are supported in the 3G version. iPod touch users will be able to but it for $9.95.
