Mazda RX-8 controlled with iPod touch
We all know about the Mazda RX-8, a sports car and powered by a rotary engine. Now using a wi-fi connected iPod touch, the user can connect to a computer in the car which is connected to the net using a separate internet connection.

With this setup the user can now open doors, start the engine, monitor all of the car stats such as RPM and if that isn’t enough you can even see where the car is on a Google map.A telemetry window provides data such as fuel level, battery voltage, RPM, speed, and temperatures.All of this is accomplished with computer hidden in the trunk, hooked up to the on-board diagnostics, and equipped with a 3G modem to stay constantly connected to the interwebs.
