Fishbowl Facebook Desktop Client for Windows 7! Simply Awesome

Facebook is probably one of the most visited website daily. Not that its quite easy to use and friendly its because it’s really addictive. Microsoft recently upgraded there Adobe Flash competition, Silverlight to version 4 and with it a slicking looking Facebook Desktop Client also known as the Fishbowl.  At first glance its look’s like a basic client that lets update your status, share photo’s and check the updates.

As the app as you would know is built by guys at Microsoft, it features Windows 7 latest jump-lists and Aero Peek . If you like getting updated with notifications you’ve probably fallen in love with it already. Both the superbar icon and the navbar in the application window will let you know when your attention is required. The coolest of the whole lot of features it houses is the way it lets your explore photos. Click on a album after that you can flip through the images using your scroll wheel. You can zoom as well as print or save images or the entire album. Also the slide-show mode is kinda cool. With view features so great, upload is even more simpler, just drag and drop the picture you want onto the Fishbowl window.

But if you love ultrafast facebooking with your reliable Chrome or Firefox, mind it Fishbowl will make you hate it as it is probably using IE8’s rendering engine. But you can always force links to open to your favorite browser.Besides that color schemes and visual effects makes it a looker. Kudos! to Fishbowl and Microsoft for making something cool finally. :)
