Docs/PDF Reader Extensions For Google Chrome

Google Chrome since its incarnation has been a very rapidly evolving browser. But it seems to  miss out some cool and basic features that can make it an outstanding browser. One seriously missing feature is the integration of Google Docs which could have easily made life easier handling PDF docs.

However Google Chrome Extensions makes it possible! gPDF and Docs PDF/PowerPoint Viewer are two usable extensions that I have came across.  gPDF scans your webpage for PDF links and sets them to open up with Google Docs Viewer while Docs PDF can easily open any PDF, PowerPoint.

Thou both extensions are equally potent opening PDF docs. Docs PDF/PowerPoint Viewer misses out when it comes to opening .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, etc formats. For daily use I’d recommend giving gPDF a try, as it better suited for daily purposes of handling multi format docs.
