Read iBooks, Kindle eBooks With Black Background And White Text

December 21st, 2010

Reading a book at night is not appreciable but many do it (including me) simply because night is the only time you get the quietness. You can read an iBook or an Kindle eBook with a black background and white text so as to reduce the strain on your eyes.

Here is how you achieve the same effect as above.

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap the option General.

3. Select Accessibility.

4. Switch the White & Black to ON.

Thats it! Just open any iBook or Kindle eBook and you can read them with the black background and white font color.

Simple yet effective is what we are looking for, aren’t we?

Reading books with a black background and white text also saves battery power. I use this for when I travel and don’t have access to an outlet – plus I find it’s more relaxing.

    Thanks for sharing this tip!
