January 18th, 2009

Playstation Portable is indeed a universal device. If overclocking wasn’t enough for your PSP, you could use it as an alternative for your computer monitor. Here’s how.

How To Use PSP As A Windows Monitor

This method requires you to do some homework. Just install PSPDisp on your PSP and connect it to your computer with an USB cable.

After that it will be just like an ordinary windows monitor. Place icons and other windows widgets on the screen and play your media just normally how you do. You can also do the opposite. Control actions on the PSP and see the results on the monitor. Quiet handy if you want to move around in your den. Video after the break.

Convert Word 2007 and OpenOffice files (DOCX, DOTX, SXW, and ODT) to (RTF) with Docx2Rtf

Convert Word 2007 and OpenOffice files (DOCX, DOTX, SXW, and ODT) to (RTF) with Docx2Rtf

Whenever Microsoft launch any new Office or OS’s, like it or not they tend to screw up file compatibility with other competing or there own applications.

Docx2Rtf is a free program that can convert .DOCX and .DOTX (Word 2007 MS Word formats) as well as SXW and .ODT (OpenOffice) into the universal .RTF format that can be read and edited by any Word Processor. Thus giving you some respite from these nagging issues. It also lets you convert documents to .PDF which can be opened, viewed, and printed all the above mentioned formats as well as PalmOS Database Documents (*.PDF) and Aportis (*.PRC) files. You may, however, lose some formatting and or functionality in the process.
