Sync any mp3 player with iTunes using iTunes Agent
April 24th, 2008

Apple wants you to think that you’ll need either an iPod or iPhone to run iTunes. But that’s completely untrue because there are many freeware applications lets you sync music to different mp3 players using your beloved iTunes. Question is why people would use iTunes for there mp3 players if the same syncing can be done with different applications you can easily do that.
15 Must have free Applications for Mac
April 14th, 2008
I got really fascinated with Mac applications recently after rigging my Hackintosh setup @ Leopard on my PC. Great thing about Macs is the easiness and the great user interface that streamlines your work. People misunderstands Macs as grossly overpriced fanboy stuffs, but after using Macs you’ll understand they are cheaper in the long run. Shoot me for being a fanboy, I don’t care. I still don’t own a Mac, but I’m saving hard enough so that when holiday season comes I can gift myself with a Macbook Pro.
For the past few months I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security and I’m really happy telling you, I haven’t caught a single virus since using it. Before getting an 1 year subscription for $59.95, i would personally recommend Kaspersky Internet Security trial for 30 days. But once the trial period has expired, you won’t be able to update virus definitions and it won’t cleanup if any virus gets detected.
Yesterday i poped over a special promotion scheme for Kaspersky Internet Security that lets you run it for 180 days instead of the usual 30 days.

6 Free Alternatives to Microsoft Office
March 13th, 2008
Over the years, Microsoft Office has become the most preferred and advanced office suite. However the high price tags attached to legal and licensed copies of Microsoft Office can become a burden in the long run.
Fear no more recently lots of alternative office suites have sprouted up. They not maybe as comprehensive as Microsoft Office, but they still manage to get the work done. Here are my 6 alternative office suite picks.

1. Google Docs - Google Docs is probably your best bet against the monopoly of Microsoft office. Assuming you a decent internet connection, Google Docs includes a web-based Word Processor, Spreadsheet application, and a Presentation app. Best of all its free.
How Run Multiple Versions of Internet Explorer on same PC
March 12th, 2008

As you would know I’m the owner, webmaster and everything of www.thinktechno.com. Most of my free time goes to optimizing the website and other things. Optimizing in a sense I try to fix the problems associated with fastening, code cleaning, and checking the website with multiple website.
Problem is that almost all the versions of Firefox have no problems rendering my website, even opera does exceptionally well. But Internet explorer always gives me headaches. A minor stylesheet changes drops columns, sidebars, and do all sorts of crazy things. Add to that windows won’t allow installing multiple versions of IE.
