Replace Annoying Windows UAC with Smart UAC
September 8th, 2008

Thou Microsoft keep bragging about Windows Vista’s great security features, there are many annoying stuffs about Vista. The most annoying being the UAC (User Access Control). Its a builtin security feature which protects your computer from various threats like malicious programs, privacy breakers, by asking you with a popup(that blackens your screen for few milliseconds), whether let the program continue executing etc. Perhaps its maybe handy if you wanna be extra cautious about what your computer is going about. But then why the hell we use stuffs like Kaspersky Internet Security, Norton Internet Security etc. All in all to me its a really annoying, perhaps on of the disaster features for Windows Vista and most of us will simply disable UAC.

Google Chrome Is Available Now! Looks Impressive
September 3rd, 2008

Google Chrome just released just 30 minutes back i guess( while i was writing). Actually I was holly shit when Google announced that they where making there own open source browse, considering Google has been supporting Firefox for quite a while now.
Google Chrome is based on the WebKit engine and by the initial 5 minutes with the browser, its pretty awesome considering it just a beta. Good thing is that the browser runs separate processes per TAB to ensure security and stability. This way if one of the tab crashes accidentally, it won’t influence your work in other tabs. While running multiple tabs each tab was consuming about 6 to 10mb depending on the website content, flashier websites tend to consume more ram.
FREE Fully Licensed Retail Version Lexar Image Rescue 3 Software
September 2nd, 2008

Sometimes due to human error or software problems, but ever since data recovery software have come across with newer and newer technologies, recovering images using this software’s have become much easier and fruitful.
Generally speaking, we have seen that there are free ones and there are also paid versions which do almost the same thing but in a different way. But paid versions tend to be much better than freewares otherwise they wouldn’t charge money for it.
Download Internet Explorer 8 Beta Version 2
August 28th, 2008
As usual, Microsoft has promised a ‘new and improved’ version of the Internet Explorer and that is how (also by logical numbering) Internet Explorer 8 was born. Its predecessors I should say where profoundly popular and also downright useless when it came to security. Well, lets see what the new Internet Explorer 8 has to offer.

As usual, the developers talked about focussing on the browser-friendly perspective, enhanced security and a better platform for the developers all around the world. Some of the noteworthy features are the compatibility view, inPrivate browsing, SmartScreen filter etc. and not so new search suggestions.

As you would know, Steve jobs is always busy pushing his iPhone firmware updates so that each of you unlocking buff iPhones get miserly bricked. But why would we care about that, cause we can always get back to where we were, using the simple restore function for iPhone in iTunes that Stevey(mistakenly i guess) left us to rejoice.
But as you would know, Apple doesn’t have some kinda list where we can get the old firmware downloads. Well to make sure all our iPhone zombies don’t find it tough to get what he/she wants, we decided why not we have a list of our own!
