When not in use the mug is black when there is no coffee in it or when you put a cold drink in it, it displays the word ‘OFF’ on the front.

We have seen lots of universal remotes recently, but what sets this touchscreen universal remote apart from others, not only will it be able to change your television’s volume but also it will be able to turn on that microwave or dim those bed room lights .

This simply called “Universal Remote” for the time being is just a concept and won’t be able anytime sooner. But i really appreciate the concept “everything in your pocket”

Thou i personally would recommend using your mobile and feed reader to handle your sms and feeds, French designer named Jean-Louis Frechin came up with idea, what about a digital shelf which can display SMS messages and news items from RSS feeds.

WaSnake, as the product is called, is made from wood and an elastomer material. The non-flexible houses clusters of colored LEDs and optical fibers which makes a display which lets you displaying everything from RSS feed headlines like a stock ticker, to SMS messages.

Apparently a company called SIMable has come up with a little chip that they call the “10-second solution” for unlocking carrier GSM handsets(wow iPhone porn again). According to the folks with this unlocking method you won’t risk screwing with your warranty only thing you may require to do is just punch a hole in the sim and stick the chip, you are unlocked!

For certain 3G phones 8GB Nokia N95, Nokia E51, Sony Ericsson W200 or others you may need to do some hacking and slashing. The chip will cost you around £16.99 a piece + £2.95 and comes with a handy hole-puncher , no word if SIMable is shipping to the US, but its highly likely importers will book there shipments soon.

While a modern day kitchen houses lots of high tech gadgetry to help you with the slicing and dicing, this Space Invaders themed cutting board lets you make your kitchen kinda retro.

This wooden cutting board is a cool creation by 1337motif using square blocks of walnut and hard-maple, put together with FDA approved, water-proof glue (Titebond III), and treated with a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax.

This board measures about 17.5 X 12 X 1.25″ and is available from the artist’s Etsy shop for $125. Kinda pricey I’ll stick to my old cutting board. Also his new Zelda Tri-Force cutting board is as stunning as Space Invaders. :D
