Sony Bringing Hard Drive To The PSP ?
July 18th, 2008
Sony President, Jack Trenton walked to the stage at E3 and expressed his concerns over the UMD format in the PSP especially with the movies, so they might be thinking over providing some new form of storage. Umm … That was fast.

Mr.Trenton also expressed that since the prices of the memory cards were decreasing, they were definitely thinking of introducing an internal memory storage of some kind. Introduction of Playstation Network has already have already had an impact on sales of movies in the UMD format.
Unlike the Porsche 911 Turbo wheel, I must say this one’s got style. The new wheel comes with an extendable lap rest so you can lie backwards and place that wheel on your laps instead of a table. This time, unlike the boring vibrations, you get some accurate simulations kind of feeling from the wheel to get you closer to the game.

A wireless 2.4 Ghz technology for lag free gaming for upto 30 feet. No cables, no fret over installation. Just plugin the USB wire, connect and play by placing the Logitech wheel in a comfortable lap position.

All I can say is : Holy S**t! Apologise for the language. But then again, Holy S**t! Nintendo has announced GTA: China Town Wars for the Nintendo DS. The game is placed in Liberty City Stories but all I can see is old school up front.

The game is built on a custom engine by Rockstar Leeds. This press release by Nintendo at E3 2008 surprised everyone in the room. One word - ‘ZOMG’. According to the public statement, you can expect some new features ( maybe cause its a DS?) and entirely new environments.
God of War III announced for the Playstation 3
July 16th, 2008
Before this was announced, there were already press persons pestering the guys at E3 about the rumors of the new God of War game. After repeated ‘No comments’, they came to the stage and said- “Introducing God of War III for the Sony Playstation 3.”
At E3 today, a brief trailer was shown to all the fortunate homo sapiens sitting on four legged thingamajigs. A summer of the trailer, Kratos was standing amid huge rubble of a rune and shouted,”….In the end, there will only be Chaos!!”. Stay tuned for more about God of War III. Halo Wars to be released in 2009
July 15th, 2008
A day ago, I had written about the Halo without the Master Chief story and I was sure things would be cleared up at E3. Well, they have. Although there was no one from Ensemble Studios to clear this, an updated data sheet confirms of reports of Halo Wars release before Summer 2009.

Hopefully there will be more about this in E3 later this week. The game will see its usual equipment of Warthogs, scorpions etc. The campaign will also enable you to use forerunner technologies.

July 15th, 2008
At last, you can see some colorful controllers from now on. Not that there aren’t any, but this one is for the record. Microsoft has planned to do a paintjob to its controllers with bright red and green. If you ask me, the green one looks slimy.

Microsoft will release these limited edition Xbox 360 controllers on September 30th. The red controller comes with a play and charge kit and is priced at $65 whereas the green one comes for $55.

Nintendo Wii MotionPlus add-on debuting at E3 tomorrow
July 14th, 2008
These are days of fierce battles among the console giants. With Microsoft hot on trails of producing something that is motion sensing and the dual-shock from Sony with motion sensing already, Nintendo has come up with Wii MotionPlus add-on.

This new add-on will give unmatched precision and also faster accuracy over motion sensing according to Nintendo. With more sensors to support the accelerometer, this new add-on will bring 1:1 response during gameplay. “Every moment you make is reflected with great precision and response on your screen.”
More about the Nintendo Wii MotionPlus add-on will be announced tomorrow at the E3.
