At E3 right now, people are waiting for Microsoft to release details on a new Halo game which is supposedly not going to have Master Chief. Also, Joystiq has reports that a certain “Halo Blue” is coming this September. Hmm, so many Halo related issues. Where’s the Microsoft caravan?!

Electronic Arts have long sice annouced that you can add your custom tracks to the ganw you are playing. But what if you don’t have the feature or the ability? Steve Schnur, EA Chief Music executive has announced that downloadable soundtracks are coming in 2009.

Remember an announcement made when Microsoft was planning to build a karaoke game called Lips, well the Lips microphone has made a cameo appearance. Gamekyo have reportedly got the snaps and here’s how they look:

There is even a box art and beleive me, it couldn’t get any worse. The microphone itself is a mystery, the glowing LEDs look kind of real but at the sametime look kind of photoshopped (then again, I am not an expert in photography). What do you guys reckon? The LEDs jump according to your voice rhythm and pitch. The microphone is expected to make an appearance in the coming E3.

If you still miss those arcade style joysticks where all you had to do was steer the stick like T-Bone, you could do a lot better with this. Owing to compulsion of using the new style controllers, Japan’s Hori has done a Xbox 360 controller arcade style for you.

All the same, if you are a fan, its no big deal.

The one thing I hate about PC gaming is the fact that you have to keep fumbling around for the latest graphics cards to fit the latest games in. DirectX 10 announcement meant a new PhysX as well as a graphics card. Its almost like a bazooka just went through your pocket. Adding to that misery, rumors about DirectX 11 have surfaced.

According to Wal-Mart data sheet obtained by Joystiq, this could well just mean that Sony might be pulling off its the present PS3 model in the market. But even if it does, whats there to improve upon?

The data sheet says that a new ‘version’ will replace the PS3s in the market, it doesn’t portray any exact clauses as to find out what the new one will be like. It might be the Dual Shock 3 for the 40GB PS3 or the release of the white Playstation 3.
