SwitchEasy’s ThumbTacks looks really ugly for an iPod accessory, its looks more like an oversized push pin then a real microphone. If you don’t mind the ugliness, it features an integrated microphone, and a 3.5mm jack that plugs directly into the iPod, allowing to make audio recordings with the built-in application. You get to chose between black, white, or red, ThumbTacks is selling for $13.

Now Fusion makers of extremely fast and expensive hard drives jolts us with the latest Fusion ioDrive Duo drive. The Fusion ioDrive Duo is according to the manufacturer, is the world’s fastest SSD solution but couldn’t make me stop thinking of the Samsung guys crunching out 2GB/s using there 24 SSD’s . The ioDrive duo basic model comes with 160GB of storage while the top end drives max out at 1.2TB with a read and write speeds of 1.5GB/s and 1.4GB/s respectively.
