You might already have got hold of the world’s coolest keyboard. Nothing the less, atlast Art Lebedev finally shipping the Optimus Maximus. I was starting to think if it would end up in the archives of some vaporware historian.

Optimus Maximus keys have built in OLED displays that changes depending to the function its assigned; say you are using Photoshop you are fed up of the normal shortcuts, with this keyboard you can assign the normal letter keys with editing icons, color pickers, etc. With Maximus keyboard the possibilities are limited only to your imagination.

Well theres some really bad news Optimus fans, the Optimus isn’t being shown at CeBIT after all. Thats really a dissapointing news.
This huge stuff costs a big bang for buck at $1,490. Ooh thats a way too much! Pre-orders start in April with delivery in November/December 2007.

Oh and not to forget there was a good news as well, the Optimus 103 gets a name change. While we were hoping for the Optimus Prime, it looks like they’ve settled on Optimus Maximus (the god of gods).
