  We all are accustomed to opening up Task manager atleast a few times every day to shutdown un-responding tasks, or to checkup on which programs are eating up a lot of memory. But i don’t like bashing my keyboard’s Ctrl+Alt+Del keys every now and then. I’m sure you’ll love this tiny little app called Task Killer, forget Ctrl+Alt+Del.

This mostly happened due to click happy fingers clicking on just about any link it comes across. Hey what can i do if someone disguise a MLM or porn site with a what it seems to be a shopping or informative link.

How to make Gmail fetch all your emails from different accounts

Nowadays most people have more the one email account, usually just about enough to handle. As i write I have around 6+ email accounts ranging from service providers like Yahoo, Gmail( i got two of those), Hotmail also known as Windows Live mail, besides my website email…etc,etc. An easy way is to use Outlook or an email client like Thunderbird to manage all your accounts from one place as it makes archiving and managing much easier then opening windows after windows to check each email account.

How to add and remove unnecessary features and services in Windows Vista

Microsoft latest operating system Windows Vista comes with many bells and whistles. But mostly aren’t that necessary or total useless features. But you can always turn off some of them just to speed it up. Here is a brief walkthrough that guide you through the process.

  1. Lets first get started by opening your Control Panel. Now select Uninstall a program from the Programs section.
  2. In the left down column, select Turn Windows features on or off.

Add the Command Prompt to the Windows Explorer Right-Click Menu

Do you know that a hidden option allows using “Command prompt” when you right click on a directory via the menu rather then running it from RUN.

Here’s is a cool registry trick that gets its going. But make sure you backup your registry before embarking on it. I’ll show you how it’s done step by step. But you can always use the ready made reg file at the bottom.

Step-By-Step Method:

Type regedit.exe into the Start\Run dialog, and then navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

Now right click on “shell” and choose the New Key option:

Cool Google Talk emoticons that you never seen!

I’m assuming that many of Google Chat users don’t know that Google Talk features emoticons. Even if they know it supports most of the emoticons aren’t used or people don’t know about it. Thou not as flashy as Yahoo Messenger emoticons, Google chat emoticons are simple, yet cute and interesting. Monkeys, hearts, guy with the sunglasses and many more.

Also, another thing is that if you are using GMail Chat with Firefox and have the AdBlock extension installed then you might experience crashes. If you encounter this problem disable Adblock, clean the cache and restart Firefox.

Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 on Vista!

If you download Abode Acrobat Reader 8 and try to install it on your Vista machine it could be that you’ll encounter the following message:

First, download the Adobe Reader installer from the Adobe website. When you are prompted to run or save the file, choose save. Save the file to your desktop.

On the Desktop, right-click the AdbeRdr80_en_US file and then choose Properties.

Click the Compatibility tab.
