With all the daily surfing that i go through, i find it really frustrating to go trough endless scores of windows. This mostly happened due to click happy fingers clicking on just about any link it comes across. Hey what can i do if someone disguise a MLM or porn site with a what it seems to be a shopping or informative link.
1. First go to Tools> Preferences> Advanced> Network,
2. Select Server name completion.
3. Now you have two options within it;
Try name completion
Look For local network machine
This trick is a unusual one and I bet many out there don’t know this. Firefox actually features the possibility to set multiple home pages. I’m a big fan of many websites so I atleast need to check 3 most favorite each time I’m online. Firefox 2.0 since its release had the niggling memory leak and no matter how many updates have been out to address this issue it still has that retard issue. A standard Firefox install without any extensions consumes around 80MB but soon after you add a few extensions you can see a noticeable drop in the performance.
