The iRiver lplayer is in a sense the successor of the old line of iRiver Clix. Though smaller in size, it offers the same huge amount of its features as its ancestors.

First on the ergonomics, its really good considering the size of the player. The screen is relatively huge. A 2-inch TFT display with a 320 x 240 resolution. The controls are mostly the same as the iRiver Clix. As a rule, there is a dedicated button for the volume and the hold option.

Sirius recently adds another horse to their range of portable satellite radios, the Stiletto 2. Best thing is that its much smaller and lighter then its original brother at 4.3 oz. Thou still no one will guarantee this a buy just for the decrease in its size.

Well the Stiletto 2 now features Enhanced version of WiFi, a new microSD card slot with improved MP3 and WMA management. But the most interesting thing is the ability to tag a track and then purchase it later. Also a niffty little feature is a “love” button that lets you tag tracks that you love to hear at a later time. You can even schedule and capture upto 100hrs of music or voice recording.

New Philips GoGear flash-based players released

Philips recently came up with its all new Gogear flash based players, pretty cool looking, good storage capacity, good playback with support for MP3, DRM’d WMA.
The three new models released by Philips are SA6015, SA6025, and SA6045 having 1GB, 2GB and 4GB memory respectively.

It has a good and pretty wide 65k color, 320 x 240 pixel 2.2-inch LCD. The most attractive thing is that it has a capacity to play up to 4-hours of WMV video playback per charge. Currently the 4GB model -SA6045 is available for $130.
