SkullyBoom speaker is meant for the active sort

June 19th, 2009

Not everyone wants a speaker to sit prettily and safely on their desk.  For those that are the active types, you might want something more durable.  Which is exactly what the creators of SkullyBoom are trying to do.  They wanted speakers that were portable, but in the event you wipe out on your skateboard, it’s not going to hurt the speakers.  Granted, you’ll need to get some kind of a durable case for your MP3 player too, but at least you know the speaker is safe.

Podio MP3 Player for Bikes,Cyclists

May 6th, 2009

Listening with a pair of headphones while cycling is a major risk as we all know. Listening to music while biking is going to block out some ambient noise. A new MP3 player from a Taiwanese firm allows bicyclists and other users to listen to music from a compact digital player that doesn’t require earphones or headphones. The device is called Podio and it crams the speaker, amp, and storage into a metal tube 88mm long that can connect to a bike’s handlebars.

iRiver lplayer: The Good Gets Better With Time

September 25th, 2008

Listening to ‘light’ music was never so much fun, literally. For a player so small, the iRiver lplayer is really a bang for the buck. The iRiver lplayer is in a sense the successor of the old line of iRiver Clix. Though smaller in size, it offers the same huge amount of its features as its ancestors.

First on the ergonomics, its really good considering the size of the player. The screen is relatively huge. A 2-inch TFT display with a 320 x 240 resolution. The controls are mostly the same as the iRiver Clix. As a rule, there is a dedicated button for the volume and the hold option.

At Apple’s Lets Rock event, everyone was happy about the announcement of the new iPod Nano and iPod Classic. But the next announcement made them more anxious and more excited. Apple announced the second generation iPod Touch with never seen before ’style’ and ‘charisma’.

Thinner than ever, Apples’ still on top of the best gadget styles if you ask me. The edges are rimmed now and is chrome in colour, what the slang people would call ‘thats more bling man!’. The iPod Touch 2G has a whole load of new features including Nike+ .
