Now ask me why I’m posting some toaster news a gadget blog. The Phillips 1200W HD2618 toaster is no ordinary fellow. It features an anodized aluminum finish, digital countdown timer removable non-stick crumb tray and a one sided toasting option. So much for a toaster, but hey its still a toaster.

Philips launches today at IFA, Berlin new set of chargers for the Power2Charge and Power2Go which are part of the Power4Life line. The SCE7640 being the flagship of the Power2Go range, easily will charge laptops with the 5V capacity. On the other side the diminutive SCE2110 is designed for the mobile phones, SCM7880 is the flagship universal USB charger of the Power2Charge range which stores in around 60hrs of juice and uses standard USB sockets (regular and mini) to connect to pretty much any device. The devices hit Europe this December.To make it a little uncomplicated here’s the list:

New Philips GoGear flash based players released

Philips recently came up with its all new Gogear flash based players, pretty cool looking, good storage capacity, good playback with support for MP3, DRM’d WMA.
The three new models released by Philips are SA6015, SA6025, and SA6045 having 1GB, 2GB and 4GB memory respectively.

It has a good and pretty wide 65k color, 320 x 240 pixel 2.2-inch LCD. The most attractive thing is that it has a capacity to play up to 4-hours of WMV video playback per charge. Currently the 4GB model -SA6045 is available for $130.

Philips Partnering with Swarovski, have come up with Active Crystals collection of 1GB USB drives and sparklin headphones as well. A USB drive stores 1GB and sparkles away looking very pretty dangling around one’s neck.

I know its quite hot and very attractive for all the girls out there if not men. The Active Crystals collection will be lining the shelves at stores from August.
