Last holiday season Sony’s PS3 console faced its fair share of challenges. Sony’s latest hope in the console race is the upcoming version of the console that sheds some weight to get the price level of its competitors. Even at the $600 price tag Sony’s next gen console could have sold like hot cakes if only it had console selling games like Halo 3 at the launch. It had a great Blu-ray disc player, basically it was a powerhouse of a system but without games PS3 is just a playboy’s fantasy.
