Whats Special In The All New PSP?

As we had told earlier about the fast loading time, slimmer shell, lighter in weight but now we would like to highlight some real facts about the all new PSP.

The new PSP is based on a TA-085 PCB, which is not really different from the previous one. The new PSP also includes a WLAN switch on the top. Unfortunately one can’t use an original PSP remote with the new PSP. The RAM in the new PSP has been doubled from 32MB to 64MB, oooh that’s what I feel is something really awesome. The 1200mAh battery consumes less energy and can stay for about 3-6 hours, the previous PSP had 1800mAh battery, and well it also would give same stand by time. Now, you don’t really need to worry about charging when you’re busy with your pc as you can charge the new PSP over USB.

So far the firmware dint squeeze the whole juice from a PSP, but now the latest firmware has enabled the PSP to make full use of its resources. The new firmware v3.5 set clock speeds to 333MHz which is the real capacity of a PSP.

Some games like Ratchet & Clank need a clock speed of up to 266Mhz. The speed won’t make any difference for the already existing games but in the case of new games, if they really require more speeds then only the speeds will be used accordingly.
