Is W999i fake or real??

Ummm… Looks pretty cool right?? Yea surely it does look really good. But the question is, whether its fake or real?

A few days back this phone’s profile was listed at Sony Ericsson’s site. According to the information given, it reveals that the phone has a QCIF screen, 3G, NetFront browser. But what i really feel fishy is that the phone has just a QCIF screen. It should have been better than that for such a big model name.

Another surprise is that it can be found on www.gsmworld.com

Highly featured cell phones may ride over Apple iphone

Nowadays, one can see many cell phones with wide range of features like music, camera, videos, games, etc. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics seem to be producing highly acceptable cell phones with high range of features. This has proved Apple little bit difficult to compete with these companies.

At a price tag of $500 to $600 which is spectacularly high resulting in opening the door for other handset makers with similar models worldwide. Despite of this fact Apple still expects to sell 10 million of the phones in 2008.

Sony Ericsson K200 and K220 simple phones with camera

After rolling out all the candy bars and fancy bars, Sony Ericsson still manages to show up the K200 (pictured above) and the K220 GSM/GPRS cellphones. Both phones sports a 640×480 VGA camera, 128×128 65K display, speakerphone and 2MB of internal memory that will let you store about 40 pictures. While the K220 gets a FM radio that can also serve as an alarm clock.

Even if these phones are just plain vanilla, they do make it up for in colors. While the K200 gets a coating of black or champagne color, while the K220 comes in either white or blue. Both expected to be available in stores this Q2.Sony Ericsson K200 and K220 simple phones with camera

Sony Ericsson J110 and J120 candy bars for people who just need a phone

Amids the barrage of fancy phones,Sony Ericsson unveiled the J110 and J120 which are just ordinary candy bars, they don;t even have a camera. Quite surprising from Sony Ericsson after the announcement of their jazzier cousins the W880 and the K710i.  These phones are for those who just need a basic phone for just talking.

They are quite comfortable and could be used for hours of talking, nice sized keys and a central nav key with one-click access to many of the most often used features and nine hours of talk time. You can select from the available Soft Cream, Smooth Gray and the so called Precious Purple for the J110(pictured below).

After all those rumors and official words for the W880, its now time for a cool Shiny Shiny's video walkthrough. In the video you will see how cool looking it is, and the SE's Walkman 2.0 software that lets you keep track of songs, album art, and buy new music via an online store. But theirs no flash with that 2MP camera, this is the only factor that make us give it a four out of five. Otherwise its just about perfect.
