Sony’s latest hope in the console race is the upcoming version of the console that sheds some weight to get the price level of its competitors. Even at the $600 price tag Sony’s next gen console could have sold like hot cakes if only it had console selling games like Halo 3 at the launch. It had a great Blu-ray disc player, basically it was a powerhouse of a system but without games PS3 is just a playboy’s fantasy.

The debutant XEL-1 is a 11 inch display TV sports a “crazy contrast ratio” of 1,000,000:1, thats crazy. But most consumers will give it a pass this because of the paltry resolution of just 960 x 540 which is way short of true HD. Kaz Hirai finally has some good news for the PS3 fans at the Tokyo Game Show 2007. The DualShock 3, SIXAXIS with rumble is official. No word on the price for the DualShock 3 but here is the official list of games that will use the DualShock 3 or get a software update to work with it.

Whats Special In The All New PSP?

As we had told earlier about the fast loading time, slimmer shell, lighter in weight but now we would like to highlight some real facts about the all new PSP.

The new PSP is based on a TA-085 PCB, which is not really different from the previous one. The new PSP also includes a WLAN switch on the top. Unfortunately one can’t use an original PSP remote with the new PSP. The RAM in the new PSP has been doubled from 32MB to 64MB, oooh that’s what I feel is something really awesome. The 1200mAh battery consumes less energy and can stay for about 3-6 hours, the previous PSP had 1800mAh battery, and well it also would give same stand by time. Now, you don’t really need to worry about charging when you’re busy with your pc as you can charge the new PSP over USB.
