The upcoming Zune 2 just gets official. Price at a cool $249 for the 80GB hard drive model and $149/$199 for the 4GB and 8GB flash-based models respectively. As you would know it comes with WiFi which automatically sync with your PC or laptop. The Zune pad is touch sensitive much like the iPod click wheel.

Microsoft recently shipped its one millionth Zune MP3 player. This seems to be really cool as for now Zune has been nearly nine months in market. Microsoft had actually expected to acheive the 1millionth mark by June. But seems like Microsoft Zunes sales is really fired up, it turned out to reach the mark with a month to spare.
But when we compare the sales of Zune with Apple’s ipod, it really seems to lag behind. 100 million ipods have been shipped in six years of being in market. Microsoft is likely to add firmware updates to existing Zunes in order to further enhance their capabilities and performance.
We are hearing that Zune Scene is currently flaunting with Zune 2 and Flash Zune thats expected to be released later this year. Thou its still unconfirmed, rumors is that a Microsoft employee spilled out the details on the upcoming Zune products during a business trip. But if the info is correct, we should get our hands-on this two new products from Microsoft coming this fall.
The news about Pink Zune that was on the internet days ago is now official, and the color is lighter than the pictures that were shown before on the net. And Microsoft has planned to make only 100,000 units of Pink Zune. I think they are trying this on the girls, as Pink is the favorite color for many girls so making it look like a girly style. Finally Microsoft releases the much awaited 1.3 version of Zune’s firmware. Zune was release last November to take one Apple iPod. But instead it got stuck with some crazy shits like skipping , reliability, syncing and that very annoying FM tuner draing battery while in sleep mode.
 According to Zune Insider, the new firmware thankfully removes that skipping problem with the downloaded music from Zune Marketpalce. Also it makes the Zune more reliable while syncing/detection and everyone would welcome the changes made to the FM tuner functions to correct that battery draining problem while in sleep mode.
